Today’s treat is Izumiya Christmas cookies.

今日のおやつは泉屋のクリスマスクッキー。

I don’t know about you, but I still have plenty of sweets and cookies left from Christmas.

クリスマスに用意したお菓子がまだいっぱい残っていて、、。

Including this box of Izumiya cookies.

その中の1つがこの泉屋のクッキー。

 I still have it because I received a bigger box of Izumiya cookies from a friend.  No complaints about too many cookies, because I get to keep the tins, the reason why I bought this in the first place!

じつは、同じ泉屋の大きなボックスも貰っていたので、このボックスが残りものに。クッキーばっかりになってしまったけど大丈夫。もともと、このボックス目当てで買ったのです！

The limited edition tin, featuring “The Christmas Company” by the famous poster designer, Raymond Savignac.

ポスターデザインで有名なレイモン・サヴィニャックの”The Christmas Company”を使った限定ボックスです。

 Christmas cookies are the perfect cure for overworked Santas.  I need to nurse him back to health before he makes his way back to his hometown, Drobak in Norway.

働き過ぎのサンタにはクリスマスクッキーが最適。サンタの故郷、ノルウェイのドローバックに戻る前に、このクッキーで癒してあげないと。
